Lizzie Brenner, Intern

Hello! My name is Lizzie, I am a student therapist currently pursuing my Master’s in Family Therapy at Thomas Jefferson University, with a concentration in Sex Therapy. I am passionate about creating a safe and supportive space where individuals, couples, and families
can explore their identities, relationships, and personal growth.

I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Counseling Psychology with a minor in Human Sexuality from Indiana University. During my undergraduate years, I served on the executive board of the Sexual Health Advocacy Board, promoting sexual health education and awareness
across campus. This experience deepened my commitment to fostering open, judgment-free conversations about intimacy, identity, and connection.

As a demisexual individual, I am particularly passionate about supporting members of the LGBTQ+ community. My personal experiences have inspired me to help others navigate the intersections of their sexual and romantic identities with empathy and understanding.  I am excited to begin my therapy journey here at CHRIS and to collaborate with clients as they explore who they are and take meaningful steps toward their goals!
