Group Therapy

Group therapy can be a useful process to connect with peers, share similar experiences, and gain validation for struggles we are facing.  Therapists help facilitate discussion among group members.  They may have set topics or may be free association based.  Some groups are offered weekly while others are offered monthly.  Some groups are contained to regular group members while others are drop in style. Group therapy can be conducted virtually or in-person.

Currently CHRIS offers a coming out support group.  The group is led by Liza Linder, LCSW.  The group meets Wednesday at 6:00 pm.  This group is for any person coming out in any way as part of the LGBTQ+ community.  Participants must be at least eighteen years of age.  The fee for the group is $25.00.  Contact Liza at llinder@centerforhealthierrelationships.com or by phone at 215-290-7721.

Therapist Kathleen Scheppe is also offering a virtual Art Therapy. Monday at 8:30 EST or 5:30 PST. This group will start on January 27th, 2025. Please see informational flyer below.
