Rylee Usher, Intern Therapist

Hi, I’m Rylee Usher (she/her), and I am an intern therapist currently working to complete my Master’s in Professional Counseling at the University of Pennsylvania. I have lived in Philadelphia for the past seven years, and I have worked in a variety of community spaces to support wellbeing and individual growth. I completed my BS in Neuroscience at Temple University in 2023, and I have grown a deep understanding of the impacts of trauma and development on the brain.

I am particularly interested in diving into the relational, cultural, and systemic structures that shape our thoughts, feelings, and actions. I believe that each person is the expert on their own narrative, and my goal is to provide a supportive environment to process your experiences. My approach to the therapeutic relationship is based in honesty, non-judgement, humor, and accountability.

As a queer woman, I recognize the importance of maintaining an inclusive space for individuals to feel safe in vulnerability. Each person will have their unique story to share, and I will work to make sure that your voice feels heard and prioritized. Whether you’re navigating relationship challenges, exploring identity questions, or seeking an open space to discuss sexuality, I welcome anyone and everyone.
