The Center for Healthier Relationships, Individuals, & Sexualities (CHRIS) offers internship placements, for up to four students, who are working on their master’s degrees. When possible, we attempt to provide small stipends. Our current interns are Ben Barsky, Karma Chau, Mycah Halstead, Amber Hollman, Chaise Kissinger, and Rylee Usher.
Student interns are required to be part of an accredited program which prepares them for licensure. Interns need to have at least 240 direct hour requirement and be able to commit to a minimum of 10 months to be considered for an internship placement at CHRIS. This typically averages in 1-2 days of seeing clients, holding a caseload of 8-12 clients. Additionally, all team members of CHRIS are part of the LGBTQ+ community. As such, a preference is given to interns who are part of the LGBTQ community in some way.
If you are interested in an internship opportunity, contact Dr. Chris Wilson at 484-469-8705 or by email at cwilson@centerforhealthierrelationships.com.
